2011 musical summary

To start, the best album of the year goes to Arctic Monkeys with Suck It And See. Definitely a breaker masterpiece. The perfect maturity. No rivals. No more to say.

But for me, a new Coldplay's album always have an empty space in my head and Mylo Xyoloto is not less. The concert in Las Ventas (Madrid) was something so colorful that I will never forget.

About the national scene, Vetusta Morla has not get back and they have finally given us Mapas, a story of peace and discord that every listen does it even better.

We had too a happy revival and a sad farewell; or maybe a sad revival and a happy farewell... Anyway, both Red Hot Chili Peppers and R.E.M. have left their gifts this year (I'm With You and Collapse Into Now respectively).

Also, a pair of brothers have left us two great albums, each in their way, that we couldn't stop listening. We are talking about the Liam Gallaguer's new band Beay Eye (Different Gear Still Speeding) and the Noel Gallaguer's solo album (High Flying Birds).

Finally note listen to The Vaccines (What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?), the latest of The Strokes (Angles) and Foo Fighters (Wasting Light), the Kasabian's new approach (Velociraptor) the genuine rhythm of Miles Kane (Colour Of The Trap) and the amazing El camino from The Black Keys.
